Over the past twenty years, several hundred thousand visitors to museums in the United States and abroad have been able to experience firsthand Esther's extraordinary fabric art. Exhibitions include both the original fabric works and the Images of the Art of Esther Nisenthal Krinitz exhibition, a collection of high-quality photographic images of Esther’s original artworks.

In 2019, having premiered Esther's works nearly 20 years ago to record-breaking crowds, AVAM installed a five-year, expansive installation of Esther’s art and story entitled Esther & the Dream of One Loving Human Family. The exhibit includes a partial recreation of Esther’s modest farm home, a thatched-roofed cottage like the one Esther stitched in her first picture, as well works by Judy Tallwig, South African Truth and Reconciliation testimonies, Rwandan genocide survivors, and more. The goal of this exhibit is to juxtapose the power of Esther's work and story with the experience of other victims of cultural genocides, historic, and current, to urgently underscore the great danger of demonizing any human being as an undesirable 'other.’
