Interview with Esther Nisenthal Krinitz In 1998, acclaimed filmmaker Lawrence Kasdan spent three days interviewing Esther Nisenthal Krinitz and family, with her art work as a focal point. In this beautiful 13-minute documentary film, Kasdan has distilled Esther's story and art into into a poignant memory of survival.

Video Slide Show Take a 17 minute journey from pre-Nazi Poland to Brooklyn, NY as Esther tells her Holocaust survival story through her artwork and the words she stitched into the picture borders (silent).

High Resolution Digital Images View the art work in JPEG files digitized from the same vivid professional art photographers' renditions that appear in "Memories of Survival." These images are so finely detailed that when you enlarge them in your picture viewer you can see the individual fibers in the threads.

Supplemental Materials Includes the Exhibit Brochure, the Teacher/Student Guides, a PC (only) high resolution slide show and useful web links.
