My grandpa is my hero. He is my hero because he was giving. He was in 3 ways. #1:material. He gave gifts as well as loans. He plain out put people through college. #2:advice. He would give advice to just about anyone. #3:the way I will be focusing on was time.

One example of him givinghis time was to too his friend, Moish. Moish had a bicycle shop in New York. Every year, between 1955 and 1974, on Christmas Eve Day, my grandpa would go to Moish's bicycle shop as a cashier. He helped out because he wanted to help on the last day of Christmas shopping. Even though this was the busiest, most stressful day of the year. (This is proven by the fact that Moish hid in the bathroom.) Even though my Grandpa probably had better things to do, every year he would go to Moish's shop and help out. Even up until my grandpa died, Moish still sent him funny clippings from newspapers.

There are many other ways that my grandpa was heroic; this was the story that I chose. I thought that the story not only showed his givingness but also showed that he was a good friend.<
